General Guidelines
Closings and delays follow these general
guidelines. Conditions may exist where changes to the guidelines
are called for. The Home page of our website,
www.severnaparkumc.org, will show all
closings or delays.
Workweek
The church follows the closings and delays
of the AA Community College. The Nursery School follows the AA
Public School closings and delays.

Note:
When the Office and Building are closed,
outside groups
(those not related to the
ministry of SPUMC, but just using our building) are NOT to
meet.
Evenings
In the event that the weather clears by evening and the staff member or
church group leader feels an absolute need to meet, they will contact
the other members of their group. (See
below to have an announcement posted on our website.)
Otherwise, you can assume there is no
meeting, rehearsal, etc. Please be advised that the
parking lot may not be clear!
Saturday
In the event of inclement weather on Saturday, the staff member or
church group leader will make the judgment call and contact their group
members. (See below to have an announcement
posted on our website.)
Please be advised that the parking lot may not be
clear!
Sunday
In the event of inclement weather on Sunday, the senior pastor will make
the judgment call. The decision will be made by 6:00 AM. If you do
not see a notice of cancellation on the website, then church services will be held.
