MONTHLY MEETINGS

The United Methodist Men meet on the second Saturday of each month at 7:30am in Fellowship Hall for breakfast, special presentations, prayer, singing and faith sharing.  In addition to encouraging and supporting spiritual growth and faith development, they are currently developing programs to meet the needs and interests of the church by sponsoring special projects and social events.  All men are encouraged and welcomed to be part of this exciting fellowship.

You are welcome to bring a guest or family member along.

Hope you can join us!

United Methodist Men (UMM)
Book Study & Prayer Breakfast

The SPUMC United Methodist Men (UMM) will be kicking off a new reading and discussion program with their January 13th meeting using the widely acclaimed book The Man in the Mirror:  Solving the 24 Problems Men Face by Patrick Morely.

The Man in the Mirror was written to help men find deeper significance and lead more balanced lives.  It shows how Christian principles can help us address the dilemmas of modern life in such areas as relationships, finance, budgeting our time, and self-control.

All men of SPUMC are encouraged to participate.  Each weeks discussion is independent, join in at any time.  SPUMC UMM will be providing the book free of charge, although we encourage a donation of $5.00 to the SPUMC General Fund Revival campaign in exchange.

Find even more on the Man In The Mirror at their website http://www.maninthemirror.org/  The Study guide can be found at http://www.leaderu.com/cl-institute/mirror/mantoc.html
