United Methodist Youth Fellowship offers the younger members of our church activities and fellowship with Christian influences. At SPUMC, we recognize youth as a vital part of our faith community. We invite our youth to make a strong commitment to Jesus Christ and nurture their growth in Christian discipleship through opportunities for study, fellowship, and service development. What is UMYF and what do
they do??:
United Methodist Youth
Fellowship (UMYF) is a ministry that provides a vital and dynamic
way for teens, in grades 7 - 12, to grow in their Christian
discipleship. While there are many exciting events that youth can
participate in, our main emphasis is on building meaningful
relationships with one another and with God. We do this through
small groups, worship, and discipleship.

"SUPER SIXTH" For 6th Graders Only Sundays, 5:00 - 6:30 PM in Fellowship Hall Super 6th nurtures youth in Grade 6 through a Sunday evening fellowship program, a lot like MYF but not as overwhelming! This preparatory program is to enable 6th graders to learn the basic rules, format and leaders of our youth program. It meets twice-a-month 5:00-6:30 PM in Fellowship Hall from October through April.
