SUNDAY SCHOOL |

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN
Sunday School for children ages 2 through high school is offered
throughout the school year during the 9:15 and 11:00 AM services. (We offer Sunday school
in the summer, but only during the 10:00 AM
service.) Our curriculum this year is “Live Big – Hear, See, and Live
Your Belief in God”. It incorporates a great mix of music, art,
discussion, imagination, education, hand-on activities, crafts, games,
Bible stories, prayer, and even video. Come check it out. We’d love to
have you join us! You
may register your child in the class at the time of your first visit.
2008 SUMMER SCHEDULE
There will be only
two services, 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Cribbery will be available
for both services. Youth Sunday Schools will be at
10:00 a.m. Children ages 2 through Kindergarten will meet in
Room 114 for the entire worship time. Children in grades 1 - 5 will begin the hour in the
worship service with their parents and then be dismissed to their
class. Sunday School for High School students, led by John
Knarr, will continue through the summer.
We will return to the regular Sunday Worship
schedule on Sunday, September 7th.
We

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ADULTS
Grand Sweep Bible Study - Sunday 8:15 AM
John Covington and Gene Cuzzart are the co-leaders
in this bible study Sunday mornings at 8:15 AM in Room 203, Come a
little early for coffee and fellowship, finish in time for the 9:15
Service or Saints & Sinners bible study. This Bible Study is
not held during the summer months. For more information please contact

The Grand Sweep is a study of the entire bible
from beginning to end. The Sweepers, as they call themselves, plan to
be flexible, every couple of months they will break off for another
short study just to keep the class interesting and lively. The class is
setup so you can join any time and not feel lost. It isn't necessary to
sign-up, just come and be welcomed.
Saints and Sinners (S&S) - Sunday 9:15 AM
Every Sunday at 9:15 Saints and Sinners hold their
bible Study in Room 203. This study is lead by Dick Legare and Nancy
Landers. Everyone is welcome to attend. You can drop in for your first
visit whenever you are ready, they we welcome you. This Bible
Study is not held during the summer months.
On January 6, 2007, S&S began studying the gospel of John until May 11.
This bible study called "John: Face to Face with Jesus" by Woodrow Kroll
is a 19-week study. Each week will focus on only one chapter of John to
delve deeper into John's interpretation of Jesus Christ. Implications
for today's application will be discussed as well as coming face-to-face
with Jesus and our relationship with Him. The 8 weeks of Lent from Feb 6
to Easter will cover 10 chapters of John and also serve as a Lenten
study. Those who can't do a 19-week study are invited to join us on from
Feb 6 to March 30 for the Lenten Study.
In
Depth Bible Study - Sunday 9:15
This in-depth walk through the Bible is an ongoing
Bible Study led by Dr. Carlton Cullis each Sunday morning at 9:15 in
Room 303. Join at any time. This Bible Study is not held
during the summer months. Contact Carlton Cullis or the church
office for more information.
