VBS
VBS: July 20-24, 2026 1:00-4:00
Some days are filled with joy—recess, birthdays, laughter… all your favorites. Other days are filled with worry, sadness, or anger. No matter the day, God is with us. God hears us and loves us. This summer, we are exploring the Psalms to discover how the writers of Scripture felt the same things we do.
VBS is for children who are 4 years old through those going into 5th grade.
Registration Dates:
- Priority Church Member Registration Window: Monday, March 2 10:00am - Tuesday, March 3 4:00
- Community Registration Begins: Wednesday, March 4 10:00am and is on going
VBS is for children who are 4 years old through those going into 5th grade. We love our littlest ones but want them to fully enjoy their experience with us, so we ask that they are fully potty trained.
When you register, you will choose a focus track for your child. VBS is $30/child. Registration is not complete without payment. You will receive 2 confirmation emails: one from VBS Pro for the registration and one from Breeze for the payment (check your SPAM folder). If scholarships are needed please, reach out to Erica. Refunds are not available after June 1st. If you register on the waitlist, do not pay until you recieve a notification saying your child as been admitted into VBS.

- Games: a mix of recess games like tag and board/card games

- Sports Mix: basketball and soccer

VBS is staffed with volunteers! About 65 volunteers are needed to make VBS a safe and fun experience. All volunteers must complete our Safe Sanctuary process which requires a background check for those 18 and older, reference checks for all volunteers, and more. Volunteers also must attend one training session.
If you would like to volunteer to coach please let Erica know. Volunteers register their children beginning mid-February. All volunteers must attend a training session: July 8 6:00pm or July 13 10:00am.
Each group of 10-20 will have a crew huddle coach to guide them throughout VBS week. The crew huddle coach's main job is to build relationships with kids, get them to their activities, assist in a short scripted daily devotional, and support the head coaches when needed. Crew coaches do not need prior knowledge of their track.
Head coaches are the experts in the activity they lead. For preschoool there are 3 30-minute activity sessions throughout VBS. For elementary there are 2 45-minute activity session. Lesson plans and materials are provided. Head coaches meet one-on-one with Erica in advance to plan.
Assistant coaches support crew and head coaches.
We also have volunteers staff our First Aid Room. This is a position for an adult with at least first aid training, including epi-pen training.
Additionally volunteers are need to help with rally time (opening/closing presentation), hospitaliy (check in/out), and tech team (6-8th grade only).
